Mr. Fields is a native Oklahoma who was born and raised in Wagoner. He attended The University of Tulsa for both his undergraduate and law school studies. Before joining the firm as an associate, Mr. Fields worked as a staff attorney for The University of Tulsa’s Boesche Legal Clinic’s Older American Law Project where he practiced elder law and estate planning while assisting in the supervision of clinical law students.
Mr. Fields is a member of the Tulsa Title and Probate Lawyers Association,
where he serves as the Association's President for 2010, and the Tulsa County Bar Association’s
(TCBA) Estate Planning, Probate, and Elder Law Section. Mr. Fields also
volunteers with the TCBA Call-a-Lawyer program.
In addition to being licensed to practice law in the State of
Oklahoma, Mr. Fields also is licensed to practice before the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Supreme Court and the Cherokee Nation Supreme Court. |
Mr. Fields also serves on the Board of Directors of several
state and local not-for-profit and civic organizations. Mr. Fields
currently serves as President of the Board of Directors of the Tulsa and Creek
County Senior Nutrition Foundation and is a member of the Board of Directors of
Health Outreach Prevention Education, Inc. (HOPE).
Mr. Fields also is active in the National Association of
Parliamentarians (NAP) and its constituent state associations and local units.
He currently serves as the Vice President of the Oklahoma State Association of
Parliamentarians and also as Vice President of the Oil Capital Unit of NAP in
Tulsa. |
